Sharon began her training at the University of Manchester, England, where she earned a BA (Hons) degree in Three-Dimensional Design. Her deep love for animals originally drew her to pet portraiture, where her lifelike representations of British wildlife and beloved companions quickly attracted both collectors and critical acclaim. Before long, sharon had established her reputation as the uk's premier UK dog artist.
However, on the international stage, she is best known for her pioneering work designing and making three-dimensional Sensory Homunculus figures.

This unique creative direction originally began as a deeply personal endeavour. After her husband suffered a spinal injury, Sharon began crafting the figures as a hands-on means of processing and understanding the structural mechanics of his condition. As she honed her early pieces, psychologists and neuroscientists took notice of her work. Recognising the immense educational and therapeutic potential of her art, these medical professionals reached out to support her. Through these collaborative partnerships, Sharon transitioned her sculptures from rough artistic approximations into mathematically accurate embodiments of the precise physical-to-brain ratios documented in Dr. Wilder Penfield's pioneering neurological research.

Today, every figure is a painstaking, multi-week labour of love, with Sharon personally welding the carbon steel skeletons, sculpting, and hand-painting each piece. Her rare, museum-quality figures have earned her a global reputation, serving as trusted, vital educational tools for universities, medical institutions, and museums worldwide
